Marketing Officer
The Marketing Officer will support Kura's marketing strategy through digital marketing, brand management, content creation, campaigns and stakeholder engagement.

Purpose
The Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing marketing initiatives that enhance Kura Asset Managers Limited's brand visibility, generate qualified leads, support business growth, and promote the Company's investment products and services. The role combines strategic marketing, digital communications, client engagement, and market research to position Kura as a trusted investment and wealth management partner.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement the Company's annual marketing plan.
- Execute campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate investor leads.
- Coordinate marketing activities across digital and traditional media.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Develop promotional calendars aligned with business objectives.
Brand Management
- Ensure consistency of the Company's brand across all communication channels.
- Maintain and update corporate marketing materials.
- Manage branding for company events, exhibitions, and corporate functions.
- Protect and strengthen the Company's corporate image.
Digital Marketing
- Manage the Company's website content and ensure information remains current.
- Manage social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and other relevant channels.
- Develop engaging digital content including graphics, videos, newsletters, blogs, and investment updates.
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns.
- Monitor website and social media analytics.
Content Development
- Prepare brochures, investment guides, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Develop articles highlighting investment opportunities, financial literacy, and market insights.
- Produce client success stories and testimonials where appropriate.
- Work closely with investment professionals to simplify technical investment information into client-friendly content.
Lead Generation
- Develop initiatives to generate quality investor and institutional leads.
- Support the sales pipeline through targeted campaigns.
- Monitor lead conversion metrics.
- Coordinate follow-up activities with the business development team.
Client Engagement
- Support investor education initiatives.
- Coordinate client appreciation events.
- Organize webinars, seminars, and investment forums.
- Assist in managing client communication campaigns.
Market Research
- Conduct research on competitors, industry developments, and market trends.
- Monitor customer preferences and emerging investment opportunities.
- Prepare periodic market intelligence reports.
- Recommend innovative marketing initiatives.
Public Relations
- Coordinate media engagements.
- Draft press releases and corporate announcements.
- Build relationships with media houses and industry stakeholders.
- Promote positive public relations for the Company.
Events Management
- Coordinate corporate events.
- Organize investment seminars and networking events.
- Manage sponsorship activities.
- Coordinate exhibition participation.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers.
Marketing Budget
- Assist in preparing the annual marketing budget.
- Monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
- Ensure cost-effective utilization of marketing resources.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all marketing materials comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal approval processes.
- Coordinate with Compliance before publication of investment-related communications where required.
- Ensure disclosures and promotional content accurately represent the Company's products and services.
- Note: All internal and external marketing communications, media engagements, digital content, promotional materials, press releases, and public statements shall be submitted to the CEO's Office for review and approval prior to publication or dissemination."
Reporting
- Prepare monthly marketing performance reports.
- Report on campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
- Maintain accurate records of marketing activities.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, preferably within financial services, banking, investment management, insurance or fintech.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in digital marketing and social media management.
- Proficiency in content creation and marketing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative, innovative, and analytical.
